Zokket, Mario & Luigi: Brothership

Zokket[1] is the main antagonist in Mario & Luigi: Brothership. He is the alter-ego of Cozette, who was brainwashed into leading the Extension Corps and the Zok Troops as a whole. His ultimate purpose is the resurrection of Reclusa, an entity who seeks to drown all worlds in solitude, which he achieves by spreading Glohm throughout the shattered continent.[1][2] He wears a mask, a top hat that covers red and green cables, and a dark red cloak with a wire cutter-like object in the front, which he occasionally uses as a weapon. His cloak follows a design trend previously used by Cackletta, both the younger and elder Princess Shroobs, Dark Fawful, and Antasma. The name "Zokket" appears to be a voicing of "socket".

Zokket has a habit of constantly forgetting the names of the Mario Bros. and the Extension Corps. Despite this he has no issue with Bowser's or Connie's names.

Battle

In combat, Zokket possesses several attacks, with one of his attacks using the plier on his cloak as a boomerang, which must be repelled with a hammer strike twice. Another attack involves him charging up a ball of lightning and throwing it at a Bro., who must again repel the ball with a hammer strike; his target is the Bro. whom more balls fall around. Occasionally, the smaller balls land on the Bros. and must be repelled themselves. He can also launch thunderbolts at the Bros. not unlike Cackletta; these must be jumped over. Occasionally during this attack, Zokket can switch the Bros.' positions via whirlwind to throw the player off. Zokket is also able to break his pliers into dual swords to carve a triangle around his prey, creating a triangular energy loop that closes in and rebounds; the victim has to jump over this wave, followed by his partner during the wave's rebound.

At low health, Zokket infuses his moves with Glohm, which can give the eponymous status effect. If either Bro is inflicted with Glohm, Zokket can turn that Bro against the other who attacks with his hammer. If the unaffected Bro counters this without dealing anymore damage, the affected Bro returns to normal.
