Speculation
If we included speculation for new games, it'd be chaos. Could we change the template to say content of a speculative nature is NOT aloud? Hello, I'm Time Turner.
Upcoming game category?
Since this template is not only used in upcoming games pages, but also in sections of articles about elements in those games, it makes no sense to add the category. That category should only be added to the game itself, not its characters/items/stages/etc. I think we should remove the category from the template and add it only to pages that need it.--Kombatgod 08:25, 29 February 2012 (EST)

Addition of warning message in case of a game being leaked
With many games have increasingly became available before its official release (or "leaked"), I and other editors have raised concerns on how some people use them as a source on their articles. While MarioWiki:Spoilers does mention that such contents must not be added before the game's release. I felt that we should have a notice on article(s) of the games that fall in that situation to make it more clear to editors.
Here's something I came up in terms of wording of such notice:
This article is about an upcoming game which have been available before its official release. In accordance with our policy, please DO NOT add any contents sourced from the game itself.
Any contents added in violation of this will be deleted, and disciplinary actions may be taken if necessary.
I don't know if this needs to be a proposal or not, but any suggestions on how this should be worded are welcome.
