World 3- is the twelfth and final level in Water Land from Super Mario Bros. 3, as well as being the third airship level in the game. It is unlocked by clearing World 3-9, and gives access to World 4-1 when cleared.

Layout

The player starts on the left edge of the Airship, shortly afterwards there are some Rocky Wrenches and a Turtle Cannon, followed by three cannons and a ? Block with a power-up. Next is another Turtle Cannon and more cannons, along with a Bolt Lift that the player can use to avoid two Rocket Engines below. After this, there are more Rocky Wrenches and another Rocket Engine, followed by another ? Block containing a power-up and a Warp Pipe leading to Wendy's room.

The battle against Wendy takes place in a flat room, and she attacks by shooting magic blasts that bounce off the walls, the floor and the ceiling. After a single hit, Wendy will shoot another magic blast. After three hits, she is defeated, and will drop the Magic Wand.
