Star Power Sword
First appearance Super Mario-kun Volume 10 (1994)

The Star Power Sword is a sword that is used in Super Mario-kun Volume 10. It is a normal sword that, while powered with Star power, has its hilt shaped like a star.

While Mario, Yoshi, and Bowser-Wanda are trapped in Honō no Dōkutsu, Wario explains that this area's bucket carries a curse that is only broken with the sword that rests in a rock at the end of the cave, protected by a Blargg. To save Yoshi and the other victims, turned into Tsubōn, Mario makes his way towards the sword and, with help from Bowser-Wanda, reaches the sword. Pulling it out from the stone, the curse is lifted; one Tsubōn nearby is revealed to be a Super Star, which lends its power to Mario to help him defeat the Blargg by powering up the sword.
