The Call of the Goomba is a music minigame from Mario Party DS.
Intro to Minigame
The Intro in this game is very important as it tells the player the speed in which the song must be played to capture the Goombas. The Super Mario Bros. Theme Song is played on what looks like an organ grinder, at a slow, medium or fast tempo.
Gameplay
The player must turn the crank on the stylus, at the speed shown in the intro in order to attract giant Goombas to the player's stump on the open field. Regular clear notes will drift above the music player if the incorrect song is played, and colored notes will play if the player has played the correct song. Goombas, upon hearing the correct tune, will start wandering their way to whoever is playing the correct tune. Whoever has the most Goombas at the end wins.
Controls
All players use the stylus to turn the crank on the music player.
