Black Shy Guys are Shy Guys who wear black robes. They first appeared in Yoshi's Story as Fly Guys. First appearing in Stage 3-3, Poochy and Nippy, the Black Shy Guy hovered in the air and dropped bombs. If eaten, any Yoshi other than the Black and White Yoshis would lose petals from their health meter. Black Shy Guys appeared in Page 6, hovering in the air holding Anvils, which they would attempt to drop on Yoshi when they attempt to pass under them.
