Rocks are throwable objects in DK: King of Swing and DK: Jungle Climber. They are usually found near pegs or Peg Boards, but most commonly appear next to them. Rocks first appear in the level Necky's Canyon. The player character (Donkey Kong or Diddy Kong) can pick up a rock with their left or right hand and hold it while the player holds down or respectively. The Kong can hold a rock while swinging from a peg with the opposite hand. They can throw the rock if the player stops holding one of the shoulder buttons, depending on which hand is holding the rock. Rocks can break a barrel or to defeat an enemy, although this does breaks the rock itself. Rocks are featured in the boss fight against Fire Necky, and they start as fireballs spit by Fire Necky, which shortly crystallize into rocks, and Fire Necky can take damage from a rock being thrown at it. Kremlings in Ice Castle pick up rocks and throw them at Donkey Kong to attack.
