Italics

Hello, Mariofan28047! Thanks for your contributions. When writing titles for media like games, films, TV shows, and publications, please remember to italicize them. This is done by placing two straight apostrophes (not quotation marks or curly apostrophes) on both sides of the title, or clicking on the I icon above the text box and typing out the title. For example, typing out ''[[Super Mario Bros.]]'' generates Super Mario Bros. If you are using a device that uses curly ("smart") punctuation, you may need to disable this function in your device's settings to be able to type out the correct apostrophes.

Previewing

Hello, Mariofan28047. When editing, if you'd like to see how your edits affect a page, use the "Show preview" button next to the "Save changes" button. This allows you to check over your edits for any errors and make any additional changes or fixes before you save, which will prevent edits from flooding the page history and recent changes. (If you are on mobile, make sure to check the preview page thoroughly before proceeding to save.) Please try to avoid making excessive, consecutive edits to a single page within a short timespan and instead limit them to as few as possible.

Capitalisation

Avoid capitalising words in headers that aren't proper nouns or the first word in the header (so "See Also" should be "See also"). Mario JC 07:52, January 18, 2024 (EST)

Same goes for "Enemies and Obstacles" and headers with "Series" or "Franchise" (which should be lowercase) in them.
On a similar note, please try to watch your capitalisation for certain object names. For example, "9-Volt" and "Special World" are proper nouns and should be capitalised and not written in lowercase (though I understand if these were typos), whereas "flower coin" is a lowercase name and should be written as such mid-sentence, not "Flower coin" (unless it's the first word of a sentence obviously). Major changes

Please do not make huge changes such as moving a page without discussing or proposing it first. The Warp Pipe discussion has barely gone anywhere (I was the only respondant and it wasn't even an agreement nor opposition). I'll lay this out very clearly: just because there's a move, merge, or split template on a page does not mean to go ahead and do it. It means there's a discussion for that which needs to be resolved. If the template says "a proposal has decided" to do it, then it can be done, but it's generally considered good form to let the proposer do it unless it's been left sitting for a long time.
