The Heart Shot is Princess Peach's Special Shot in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. To perform it, the player must tap out a triangle twice.
Princess Peach initiates the shot by dribbling in a triangle, with pink hearts flowing into her. If shot inside the three-point line, she will lift her left hand and cast the ball magically in the hoop, hearts trailing behind it. When the ball lands in, two giant hearts made of many smaller hearts appear.
If shot outside the three-point line, Peach will Jump into the air and extend her arms and legs to cast the ball near the hoop. As usual, another character needs to catch it and dunk it through. The two giant hearts still appear, however.
