Mice[1] are enemies in Wario World. They are large mice that roll left and right in purple wheels. They are encountered in a few areas of the Mirror Mansion only. Mice appear indefinitely out of narrow doorways in walls in lowered areas that Wario cannot enter. If a mouse's wheels roll over Wario, he is damaged. Wario can defeat mice with punches, although doing so has little effect since more mice soon replace the defeated individuals. Empty wheels are also seen rolling by themselves in the same areas as mice. To tell the difference, the player is supposed to look in the mirror to see which wheel has a mouse in it. Punching a wheel without a mouse in it does not have any effect.
