Wario's Castle after Mario collects all six coins.

Wario's Castle is the place where Wario lives in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Wario's Castle substitutes Bowser's Castles of the past, and in certain aspects Wario's is harder to defeat than Bowser's.

In Wario Land, the amount of money the player earns in the game dignifies what the size of Wario's castle is. The smallest castle to earn is a bird house, and the largest is a planet with Wario's face on the surface.

In Wario Land II, Captain Syrup sneaks into the castle and steals massive amounts of treasure from Wario early in the morning dawn. She floods the castle and he spends the game in search of his treasure and the crooked Captain.

In Wario World, Wario laughs greedily at the mountains of treasure placed in his throne room. His happiness is short lived when a mysterious treasure of his he stole a woke, The Black Jewel.

The Black Jewel destroyed Wario's Castle and turned it into its own world. Wario, to get his castle and possessions back, went through the five worlds the Jewel had made.

The worlds the Black Jewel turned the castle into are as follows:

Excitement Central

  • Greenhorn Forest
    • Boss: Greenfist – A large, apelike lizard creature with metal boxing gloves.
  • Greenhorn Ruins
    • Boss: Sandworm – A deadly sand monster with claws that creates quicksand and spits spike balls from his mouth.
  • DinoMighty's Showdown
    • Boss: DinoMighty – A dimwitted, giant dinosaur in a red bikini with a glue globe on its tail, that tries to squash Wario.

Spooktastic World

Thrillsville

Sparkle Land

Wario's Castle also appears in Mario Superstar Baseball, and the castle is a playable course.

It is unknown where the castle is located, but it looks like it's located in a dessert similar to Kitchen Land, possibly near Wario's Goldmine

In recent titles, Wario seems to spend most of his time at his house in Diamond City as opposed to his castle, although he must frequently visit it, as seen in Mario Superstar Baseball.
