Penny Crygor is Dr. Crygor's granddaughter. Her first appearance is in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. She admires her uncle and wants to grow up to be a great scientist. She goes to Diamond Academy.

Some day, Penny attended a competition called the "Invent-Off" at Diamond Academy and was put against her grandfather to see who is the best inventor. After what appeared to be a mental fight between the two, Penny pulled out her winning invention (a motorcycle) out of thin air which, for some reasons, knocked Dr. Crygor down. Penny then took one of Mike head-mounted microphone and sang a song to the cheering crowd.
Later, Penny sent her motorcycle to Wario. Wario was sucked inside the motorcycle while using it, and was turned into Tiny Wario.
