- On October 13, 2023, Kevin Afghani (pictured) announced that he was cast as the voice actor for Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, replacing Charles Martinet.
- On October 4, 2023, Nintendo announced that Nintendo Network will be shut down in early April 2024, discontinuing online play and functionality on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
- In the Nintendo Direct broadcast on September 14, 2023, Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass and remakes for Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door were revealed, as well as more footage and details on the Super Mario RPG remake, WarioWare: Move It!, Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, and the game starring Princess Peach, now entitled Princess Peach: Showtime! In addition, the Nintendo Museum, a gallery in Kyoto, Japan which will display "a wide variety of Nintendo products from the company's history", was announced to be completed by March 2024.
