World Coin-8, or Coin Courses-8, is the eighth level in the multiplayer exclusive Coin Courses in New Super Mario Bros. U. It is located in the sky. The course is given a difficulty rating of five stars.
Layout
The players start in an area with a Bouncy Cloud and some coins in it. When they bounce on the Bouncy Cloud, they are taken to the next area. The second area is an auto-scrolling area that contains more Bouncy Clouds, along with platforms rotating around Big Blocks and Mega ? Blocks. Several red Warp Pipes that summon Koopa Troopas can be found. Two Checkpoint Flags can be found bouncing on Bouncy Clouds. Five moving Bouncy Clouds can be found above two vertical yellow Warp Pipes, along with a green Warp Pipe that leads to the next area. The final area contains two platforms rotating around a Big Block, one of which has a Koopa Troopa on it. After the platforms, the Goal Pole can be found.
Star Coins
The positions given below are the default layout, and can be changed by a player using the Wii U GamePad in Coin Edit.
- Star Coin 1: Under two Bouncy Clouds. A formation of coins points to it.
- Star Coin 2: Over a Warp Pipe that summons Koopa Troopas, to the left of the Checkpoint Flags.
- Star Coin 3: Between two yellow Warp Pipes, under a group of Bouncy Clouds.
