Count Boomiere is the keeper of the Garnet Star and an optional boss in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. He is the leader of the Dark Boos inhabiting the Poshley Sanctum. In order to encounter the massive boo, Mario must attack the curtains in the Poshley Sanctum with his hammer three times. This well wake up the massive boo, who was sleeping on the job. He well then engage in combat with Mario and his friends. In battle, Count Boomiere is a force to be reckoned with. He can turn invisible and call in Dark Boos to assist him in battle.
