In battle, Count Boomiere is a force to be reckoned with. He can turn invisible and call in Dark Boos to assist him in battle. Despite this, he is weak to fire, and if burnt his defense well drop, allowing Mario and co. to attack him more easily. Once defeated, the count well run away from Mario and his friends, never to be seen again.

Personality-wise, Count Boomiere is very cowardly, preferring to hide from battle, rather than attack his foes. He well even allow Mario to take away his treasure, the Garnet Star, without a fight. However, if attacked, the massive boo well put up quite a fight, despite his fearful nature.
Count Boomiere is very lazy, often falling asleep while watching the Garnet Star. Because of this, Mario can simply take the star without a fight, unless he chooses to wake the large boo. Despite his lazy personality, he is very strong compared to other boos.
