Navigation templates / categories

Hello, thanks for creating those articles, though in the future, please keep in mind that they should have a navigation template and category at the bottom of the page (refer to MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Navigation templates and MarioWiki:Manual of Style#Categories). In the case of Walls for demolition, it should have:

[[Category:Mario Objects]]
[[Category:Wrecking Crew]]

Uploads

Hello, Axii. Good job on your recent uploads, but when uploading files, keep in mind that you must correctly categorize the file. It's simple to learn how to do so. Just search for the correct category by starting with the following groups: Images Audio/video files Company images Film images Game images Merchandise images Publication images System images Television series images Website images Company media files Film media files Game media files Merchandise media files Publication media files System media files Television series media files Website media files When uploading, copy the full title of the category and insert it in square brackets into the summary text box below the {{aboutfile}} template, replacing the {{uncategorized}} template entirely. If you're using the upload function from the text editor, simply add the category link to the description. For example, files related to the game Super Mario World would use: [[Category:Super Mario World images]] or [[Category:Super Mario World media files]] Please consider the above information before uploading more files. Keep in mind that some files can belong to multiple categories. Do not put images into the media files category, or vice versa. If you continue uploading files without categorizing them correctly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

What you were doing looks like this, and it is an inconvenience for other users to fix up the template. It is simple to learn how to format it correctly. The pre-loaded syntax is shown below. {{aboutfile |1=Subject of the image |2=Where you found the image |3=Artist |4=Describe edits, if any |5=Other versions (use file link) }} Just replace the necessary parts with that corresponding information, and remove the entire line for the parameter(s) you don't use. Please consider the above information before uploading more files. If you continue using {{aboutfile}} incorrectly, then a warning will be issued. Thank you for reading, and keep contributing.

Re:Fire Block

It's been a while so I don't recall exact reasons, but looking at the disambiguation page, I think it was because the Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis article is the only one to actually use "Fire Block" in the title. LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:30, April 6, 2022 (EDT)

Ruin

Where does the alternate name "Stone Pillar" come from? It's not in the Lost Kingdom brochure, so I'd like to know where you got it. 14:47, July 27, 2022 (EDT)

Please do not post RE: messages on my talk page. As I state at the top of my talk page in large letters, I really don't like them. They fracture discussions and make them hard to follow. It's so much easier to follow discussions when they stick to one page.

Anyway, I think "Stone Pillar" is a better name for the article, since "ruin" is used as more of a generic descriptive term than anything. 14:59, July 27, 2022 (EDT)

New articles

A couple things regarding the Odyssey pages, make sure to tag any articles that need images but don't have one with {{image}}, and that they're linked to somewhere on the wiki, otherwise they become orphaned pages. Mario JC 09:03, August 11, 2022 (EDT)

Our article on Monita was deleted via proposal. If you want it restored, you have to start another proposal.
