Mazed & Confused is a 4-Player minigame found in Mario Party 5. The name is a pun on the term "dazed and confused," which comes from a song made famous by Led Zeppelin in 1967 and which was later used as the title of a film in 1993.
Gameplay
Players start at the corners of a rectangular maze. The goal is to make it to the center. However, there are pegs creating a grid throughout the maze. Electrical barriers appear and change frequently, meaning players have to find a way around them. If a player touches an electrical barrier, they are stunned for a moment. The first player to reach the center of the maze wins. The color trail is character-dependent (e.g., Mario's is red, Peach's is pink, and Waluigi's is black). If no one doesn’t get to the center of the maze with the star on it, the minigame ends in a draw.
