The Standard YS is Yoshi's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a light green frame, to match Yoshi's green body, as well as a stylized Yoshi Egg on the hood for his emblem (unless the player changes it). It very high acceleration and high handling; average weight and items; and below-average speed and low drift. The kart shares all its stats with the Standard SG.
Missions mode use
The Standard YS with Yoshi is also used in several different missions, such as Missions 1-3, 1-Boss, 2-2, 3-4, 3-5, 4-2, 5-6, 6-3 and 6-6.
