Polterball is a downloadable microgame in WarioWare: D.I.Y. and WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase. It was released on October 14, 2009 in Japan, September 13, 2010 in North America, and October 15, 2010 in Europe.

Gameplay[edit]

At the start of the game, a man rolls a pinball down a hill with a gap that only the flipper can fill. A ghost is present somewhere on the stage; it is most often situated in the air, but may occasionally be positioned at the end of the hill, or down the gap.

The player must make sure to hit the ghost with the pinball, which is done by tapping a blue button. Depending on the ghost's location, the button must be tapped either as the pinball is crossing the gap, before it reaches the gap, or not be pressed at all. Hitting the ghost with the pinball wins the game, while missing ends it in failure as the ghost starts chasing the man.
