The Standard LG is Luigi's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a dark green frame, like Luigi's shirt, as well the "L" present on his cap (unless the kart's emblem is changed). It has high speed, tying with the Shooting Star, Rambi Rider, Light Dancer and Standard WL. It also has high acceleration tying with the Shooting Star and Light Tripper, high handling tying with the Streamliner, Mushmellow and ROB-BLS, and very low drift, equal to that of the Standard RB, Poltergust 4000, ROB-BLS and Streamliner. Its weight is tied with that off the Standard MR and Gold Mantis.
Missions mode
The Standard LG with Luigi is also used in several different missions, such as Missions 1-6, 2-4, 3-3, 3-6, 4-8, 5-8, 6-Boss and 7-8.
