|Even though I'm far from experienced at the games bundled in this game, [[Game & Watch Gallery Advance]] was fairly addiciting for it's simplicity. However, it doesn't compare to other games in terms of content - but that's not necessarily a bad thing! | |||

|I love the original, but this game was a bit worse. However, it did expand upon the starting of the game: It features a new cutscene actually explaining the events in-game. I have to say, I'm not a fan of the new brightness. It ruins the atmosphere. especially in the dark levels. This brightness doesn't fit well with this game, it's better suited for DKC3, which is rather happy-go-lucky at times. However, I do like the little critters added as background details to make it look more natural. The new minigames are kind of ridiculous but I love them. | |||

|Ah yes, another GBA port. It's pretty solid. Don't have that much to say about it, except that I like how this game and DKC on the GBA renewed the world designs. I don't mind the maps being larger, but I would have preferred the old zoomed out type of map. | |||

|This game is (I'd dare to say objectively) the best of the new DKC GBA ports. This game features the most updated graphics, a new world on the Northern Kremisphere, and one of the most important factors: new music. I do prefer the SNES one a bit, but I love this one as well, especially because the new OST gave me more of a purpose to play this game. However, this game doesn't hold up to the SNES counterpart, because while the graphics were renewed, I wouldn't exactly call them an "upgrade" since the resolution is lower on the GBA. Also, the Kongs are way too slow, sadly. | |||

|Now for something a bit more classic. While it is a simple game in it's core, it's designed in a really distinctive way. Unique enemies, levels, and most recognizable of all, the unique bosses, really show the potential the NSMB series had. However, the replay value is not something I'm particularly fond of. I can't get myself to get past World 2 after having played it for 2 times, the last time being in 2020... sorry, but desert worlds just aren't my thing. The minigames are pretty good though! | |||

|Now, I don't know about you, but I think SM64DS is objectively better than the original game for the N64. More characters, more Power Stars, better models and more. To be fair, I grew up with this game, so I may be biased. The gameplay revolves around platforming and exploration, two themes which should cross more often in video games. The levels are amazing, and with it the enemies and secrets. On the topic of secrets: BOY, do I love rumors about this game. The SM64 and SM64DS icebergs blew my mind the first time I saw them. The scenery is also amazing in this game. Not much bad to say, except that the reward for catching all sparkling bunnies is a bit lousy. This game features the same minigame collecion from NSMB, and that gives additional points! Especially because of the casino Luigi ones. Love 'em. | |||

|Let me be honest with you: This game is the '''hardest'' game I've ever played. I haven't completed the game to 100% until today, because A. Getting 100 points on each level is brutally difficult, especially because of the inclusion of Yoshi's health as points, and B. because the extra levels from each world are stupidly hard. I love the inclusion of the new babies and their new abilities, the music, the enemies and the level design, but some design aspects of this game are just flawed. Not to mention the sidescroller X puzzle gameplay, which I'm not a fan of. | |||
|Defeated final boss, but stuck on extra level 1. Got most Baby Coins and a few collectibles. Still trying to complete this somehow! | |||

|This Mario Kart title is so damn good, I may even compare it to the ''Super Mario Galaxies''. It never gets boring, especially if you have family around, which seemingly always has time, and ESPECIALLY if you have access to. This was one of the earliest Mario games I grew up with, and I became pretty good at it. ''Fun fact'': I once won a local Mario Kart Wii tournament, which started out with 64 contestants. My first successful tournament :P | |This Mario Kart title is so damn good, I may even compare it to the ''Super Mario Galaxies''. Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!Let's talk a bit more about Donkey Kong Country 3. I have so much to say about this game, I had to create an entirely new section on this page. What will I do? I'll be covering personal expieriences, secrets, tricks, glitches, and an in-depth analysis of several characters from the game. Now, let's get into our first topic. AtmosphereThis game provides a calming atmosphere, unlike the rather happy environments from DKC and adventorous tone from DKC2. I know, this game's levels may or may not contradict that, but I'll get to the levels later. This game's setting, the mysterious landmass known as the "Northern Kremisphere", isn't Kong or enemy territory. It's... unknown territory. The music themes for the Northern Kremisphere also highlight this. Take a listen! (Beautiful, right?)It's clear these themes emphasize the ominous tone given to this overworld. Not only that, but the Northern Kremisphere's also located in the "Moist Continental Mid-Latitude Climate zone" (?), a climate zone way off from the previous games. The nature in this game has an entirely unique feel to it - and looks gorgeous. It is obviously inspired by northern European countries (like Germany, for example) and canadian regions. The Northern Kremisphere offers a lot of lush forests, which I prefer over jungles, since jungles usually don't have much variety when it comes to the trees and the background. The hollow tree and riverbank settings in this game look so good, and work so well with the gameplay, that those two became my favorite level environments from DKC3. Generally, the theme is one of the major things that made me love this game in the first place. DKC felt a bit unrealistic at times. DKC2 was cool, but sometimes, the theme just changed so swiftly and randomly, it felt a bit off. I know, I'm a bit obsessed with this game. CharactersDixie KongOne of the best protagonists ever in a video game. Not only because of this game's perfect controls, but also because of their moveset. She can glide, she can roll (or spin in her case), climb ropes, duck, jump, walk, run, carry the co-protagonist, throw Kiddy Kong (I love this), carry barrels, climb into cool rocket-powered barrels, and she can even roll on Kiddy (just like on a Steel Keg) by throwing him against a wall, and hop onto his back while he's rolling. Her design is cute and her idle animation shows the love for detail in this game, even with the restricitions of the SNES. Kiddy KongYes, I like Kiddy Kong as a character. His design is simple but not too bland, he plays well in cohesion with Dixie Kong, and he has some cool special moves. Not only is he faster than Dixie Kong, but he can roll much faster and build up much more speed, which is useful for speedrunning. By pressing the jump button when rolling and touching a water surface, he can perform a Water Skip, which is useful for reaching new places. He can carry Dixie properly, and throw her to get to otherwise unreachable areas, or, you know, to be an idiot and chuck her against an enemy. Brothers BearThe Brothers Bear are such charming characters, I deepy wish they'd make more appearances in games besides just DKC3. There were little trade quests you could do with them, or help them by other means. Of course, you'd get a fulfilling reward. They have so much personality for being random bears standing behind a counter. Their shacks are spread across the Northern Kremisphere. I think their GBA redesigns are okay, but I prefer my original Bear squad. BazaarBazaar is okay, but I found him a bit too... greedy. He's pretty okay though. Weirdly, he doesn't have his mustache in-game, although he is depicted with it in his artwork and in-game, during the credits. BachelorYou may not recognize this bear, since he only appeared in the GBA remake of DKC3. He's a cool guy, but when it comes down to it, his design is a bit uncreative, and his personality doesn't hold up to the OG bears. His Bachelor Pad is stylish, though. Love the design. BarnacleThis bear is just an old, adorable retired Scuba diver. I love how he has his little shell collection. But let's be honest, his GBA design and personality is just not on the same level. Far from it. BrashAhh, Brash. I love this bear's design and unique personality. I love how you have to beat his record time to "get the reward". Also, check out Brash's Twitter account! He was my first Twitter follower, I want to return the favor. BlunderThis one I have mixed opinions about. I like his personality, his booth, but I think it's sad he's just not necessary for the game, except for people who want to find the lost world by listening to his hints, which (spoiler alert) nobody does nowadays because they just Google it. I loved the library they gave him in the GBA remake. Also, his artwork seems off. BlueAn adorable, sad bear. He has a unique music theme, which I found pretty cool, and his trade quest was possibly the best. Fun fact: My Twitter accounts old name was "Blue Bear", and my profile picture of him in front of a DKC3 forest background. 10/10! BazookaOkay. I'm okay with him, and I like his military theme, but the personality is... okay. BrambleCharming plant-loving bear. Could be me. BlizzardHis design is intriguing (I mean, he's the only polar bear), the location is unique, and his role during the trade quest is pretty cool. His personality is nice. I love how he gets really sadistic towards the Kongs if they do not want to deliver his present for Blue. BarterLike the character and personality, and I love the attention to deatil when he looses the mirror. He will stay ungroomed for eternity- BennyBenny! A bit forgettable but I like his fur color. BjörnPoor Björn got his No.6 wrench basically stolen by Barter. I mean, he's cool, but not much more special than Benny, other than he operates a broken, not really useful chairlift, unlike Benny's. BaffleHe seems like a real pacifist. You get some chill Hawaii vibes from him. Do not ever mention his GBA redesign. BoomerBoomer... Yes, Boomer was invented by Nintendo. HAHA! I spit at you filthy teenagers. Boomer's really greedy, accurate representation of Nintendo. Don't feel offended by this, I'm a teen myself. I'm talking about those Fortnite-"I've got drip"-kids. BearBear. Yes, this is an actual bear, he only appeared in Donkey Kong Land III. He's... uhh... actually, there's not much to say about him, except he's a poor stand-in for the entirety of the Brothers Bear. Character gallery
