Blue Yoshi is a Yoshi that can fly when it has any color shell in its mouth in Super Mario World. In Yoshi's Story it's favorite fruit is grapes.
A Yoshi can become a Blue Yoshi if the Wing power-up is found in Super Mario World, accessing a bonus stage that automatically ends the level whenever you fall. In addition, the Yoshi stays blue after the power-up. A Baby Blue Yoshi can be found in the underwater Star Road 2 stage.
