Long Jump is an Athletic (Field) event in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, where the player has to run as fast possible by moving the Wii Remote and Nunchuk Attachment up and down alternatley until speed lock. As the player reaches the line, he has to move the Wii Remote upwards fairly quickly to jump. Swinging too hard or soft will result in a bad jump taking the player not very far but getting the timing just right will result in a good jump, stepping on or over the green line will result in a foul. The player gets 3 goes per game.
