Template:Minigame-infobox Skipping Class is a Free-for-All minigame in Mario Party 9. Its name is a play on a common phrase used to refer to truancy and the fact that players use a skipping rope.
Introduction
The camera zooms in slightly on the players as they jump rope in front of a fountain.
Gameplay
To earn points, the players must press the button combinations displayed onscreen before the time runs out to perform jump rope tricks. The faster the buttons are pressed, the more points awarded. If a player presses the wrong button, they will not receive any points for that round. The player that earns the most points after eight rounds wins.

- Rules – "Press the buttons in the order on-screen to perform jump-rope tricks. The faster you enter the button combinations, the more points you'll earn."
- Controls – "Hold the Wii Remote sideways. Press or up, down, left, or right on in the order shown on-screen from left to right."
