Aim of the Game is a mini-game in Mario Party 8. It is featured both as a Battle Mini-game and a Duel Mini-game.

Gameplay

Each player must shoot five cards from a falling deck and hope to get the highest score. The cards flip repetitively, and the number on the card (and therefore the point value) is only visible for a second. The numbers are 20, 50, 2x, and the dreaded 0x (which reduces the score to nothing). The "x" cards are multipliers.

Tip

The limit of five cards in the game causes the possibility to achieve an unbeatable score; 800. This is done by getting a 50, then four 2x cards, or 2 50s and 3x cards. The 50 MUST be shot first.
