Fort Francis is as the name implies, Francis' Fort. This puzzle filled place is full of tricks and surpises. Inside of the fort it is seen that Francis has a love for cats, butterflies, and all things people consider "nerdy". Carrie first joins Mario's team here. After finding two passwords (2323 in the right room and 2828 in the left room), the heroes enter both of Francis' private chambers and claim the two keys to open the Meowdoor. After Francis attempts to woo Peach in a dating simulator (an attempt that leaves his laptop smoldering), he is fought. Once defeated, Tippi is freed, and the Pure Heart appears. As Merlon explains later, the Pure Heart hidden there could only be found when an action of true friendship occurs.
