People are making these stupid and random assumptions that the calico cat is based on Daisy or Bowser, but is it possible that he's Captain Toad because the light parts of its fur resembles Captain Toad's outfit. It is clear that the dark cats are not other cats. It is just another state of the normal cats. I have a proof if you want.
