Not to be confused with Finger Painting.

Template:Minigame-infobox Flinger Painting is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9. Its name is a pun on "finger painting."

Introduction

The camera focuses on a canvas as it zooms out and the players walk into the place.

Gameplay

The players must shoot paintballs at the canvas. To shoot a paintball, the player must aim the Wii Remote at the screen and press or hold A Button. Holding A Button allows the player to charge a shot and cover a larger area of the canvas with paint. At the end of the minigame, the player who colored the most of the canvas wins.

In Time Attack, the player must cover at least 90% of the canvas. To clear the bonus objective, ten shots or fewer must be made.

In-game text

  • Rules"Launch paint blobs at the canvas. Cover the most space with your color to win!"
  • Controls"Point the Wii Remote at the area you want to hit with your paint. Press A Button to shoot. Hold A Button to charge up a large paint shot. Release A Button after charging to fire."
