The effect wears off once the Rocket Flower's power is exhausted, if Mario bumps into any object, or does a ground pound. Mario can use up to three Rocket Flowers at a time, each one adding to the amount of time the power lasts. The power is activated by Mario throwing Cappy at the flowers.
