For future reference, you cannot extend a proposal deadline unless a tie has been reached between multiple voting options, or there is not a strong consensus in proposals with more than two options- if this happens, the extension is only added ''after'' the initial run of the proposal and is only extended by one week at any given time. Additionally, changes can only be made to a talk page proposal within six days of it first being posted. If you'd like to change your proposal or try it again, you'll either have to wait four weeks after this one fails or come at it with a significantly different angle to try to convince more voters. You're still at it
I'm sure you haven't forgotten that you're already on a warning for edit warring, yet you're still doing it. And you only seem to accept your edits being reverted if it's done by an admin. The admins are not the ones who make every decision you know. And threatening me with a warning is just going over the top. Please start acting like an adult. Keyblade Master (talk) 10:38, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
- I think we're going to need something a bit more solid for your point on Gooigi. Of course he and the Inklings are going to share features, they are both made out of goop-like substances. You can say the same about any other goop-like creature. It's not really worth noting characters are alike between different franchises as the connection usually ends up being coincidental. If there's a source saying how Inklings helped influence Gooigi, that'd be something (carrying weapons outside of a hub world isn't a trait, btw).
- Also yes, echoing what Keyblade Master said, admins do not have to make every decision. If you think your edit should stay, discuss it rather than constantly changing the page information. 11:15, June 20, 2020 (EDT)
Template:Lastwarn Nope, you were reminded several times about this specifically yet you keep making a habit of forcing the same edit a second time with nothing to back it up other than "it's a good/useful piece of info". "Keep my edit there and let an admin deal with this" is not how it works, and threatening a warning to someone like that is not acceptable. Learn to co-operate and talk it out with the user first or you're getting blocked. Mario JC 01:58, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
- By the by, blaming everyone else when you display problematic behavior isn't going to get you in any less hot water. But quite frankly, that should be obvious. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 04:10, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
Honestly, I seriously doubt you would be a bureaucrat by now even if I didn't revert any of your edits, 'cause there are others who have been doing so too. If you want to get promoted, you just need to be a lot more mature and properly follow the wiki's rules. Not to mention that it would take years and years of being this way to be promoted. You don't join a Wiki just so you can become part of the staff, you join to contribute.
And thank you Doc von for backing me up, 'cause you have no right to pin the blame on me like that. Keyblade Master (talk) 05:40, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
Warnings do not kill any chances of promotion. If you don't want to edit, just leave. Forcing onto yourself a way to lock yourself out (when simply leaving achieves the same goal) is just something you're going to regret later on if ever you decide to come back. You still have another chance; I suggest making use of it rather than throwing it away. Mario JC 06:58, June 21, 2020 (EDT)
- Excuse me for getting in on the discussion, but I am seriously worried of this guy's mental state (especially since he is asking for promotion but still disruptive on the wiki & asking to be banned), because his actions tell me that he is not doing too well. As someone who has had several mental issues over the years, I know what it's like, so perhaps we could deal with the situation as if he had mental issues. RE:Why I do this
Mario jc's not going to come online for a while, so I'll give you an answer for now and he can expand on it later.
Reverting edits just to give people warnings would result in a warning itself. Your edits have been consistently low-quality, which is why they are being reverted. We are trying to help you understand how to improve, but accusing Keyblade and Doc of bad faith is not the way to go about it. You have a last warning because you've already received a regular warning for the same subject, so it's the next step up. Warnings can expire, kind of, they have to be overturned, which is done if the admins think the warning was unnecessary. Your talk page is a record of your history, so it shouldn't be removed just because you don't like it. You are supposed to learn from it. Admin reminders can only be overturned by another admin, but they are given out because there is a problem, so the warning will usually stand.
If you want to improve, then improve. Don't blame others for your mistakes and try to sweep them under the rug. 11:16, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
I don't want to conflict with you, but like Alex95 said, I reverted them because they were low-quality, and you just won't accept it. Conflicting with us is literally the exact thing that is getting you into trouble, and we do provide good reasons in our edit summaries too. Nightwicked Bowser
I ought to be offended to some level, but honestly I am only amused. Things like "Despite his name, Donkey Kong more closely resembles an ape than a donkey" are excruciatingly obvious and examples of bad writing. If you'd done research into this, by say, looking at the creation section, you'd know that "Donkey" was a cheap translation for "stubborn" that sounded catchy enough to keep. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:22, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
- Alex, I believe you, but just to verify, I want an admin to take care of it.
- And Keyblade/Doc, please add a better edit summary if you do must undo non-vandalism edits. Octoling Rendezvous 12:47, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
- Actually, you're the one who needs to put better edit summaries, we have been giving good ones. You're probably just not reading them or paying attention to them just because we're not admins. And if you only want admins to take care of your edits, that is just going to lead to more edit warring which will eventually get you blocked. Nightwicked Bowser
- To be fair my DK one was just "Uh duh," but I can assure you it's near-verbatim what Glowsquid (an actual bureaucrat) would put. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 12:58, June 24, 2020 (EDT)

- Keyblade, stop harassing me. And Doc, please write better. Octoling Rendezvous 13:08, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
I’m NOT harassing you, I’m trying to be resonable. Nightwicked Bowser
Keyblade Master is definitely not harassing you. And repeating what others have said, you just need to listen to other users.Duckfan77 (talk) 13:30, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
- "Alex, I believe you, but just to verify, I want an admin to take care of it."
- I am an admin. You don't only need admin verification for your edits, you are fully capable of listening to others and conversing with them when your edit is called into question.
- "Keyblade, stop harassing me. And Doc, please write better."
- I don't understand this statement. No one is harassing you, and Doc is explaining herself. The response of "Uhhh...duh?" means the information is blatantly obvious and doesn't need to be there.
- Continue this line of thinking and you will be blocked for it, because you are doing the exact opposite of what you are trying to do. Your edits are becoming detrimental and you are blaming others for them and assuming the admins will agree with you over them. Making mistakes is fine, as long as you own up to them and work to improve. 14:13, June 24, 2020 (EDT)
Re:Warning
Giving me a warning like that and threatening a block you cannot do yourself is still just low. Usually, admins discuss between them if warnings are necessary. Nightwicked Bowser
- I removed it though. Octoling Rendezvous 09:36, July 10, 2020 (EDT)
- I still needed to tell you this, since you cannot just give warnings out of the blue like that in the first place. It's the sort of thing that should really be left to the admins to decide and worry about. Nightwicked Bowser

Nintendo Handhelds
I noticed some of the edits you made on the Nintendo DS, 3DS, and Switch pages which, in my eyes, promoted quite a few inaccuracies.
This site seems to have a history of getting the Nintendo DS > Nintendo 3DS succession wrong, promoting the idea that they went from the DS > DSi > and then 3DS, as if the DSi were its own separate entity; its own family of systems.
It wasn't.
The DS family includes: DS, DS Lite, DSi, and the DSi XL
It is true that the DSi had a few minor exclusive games, but nothing that major to warrant it being its own separate platform. It was merely another revision of the original Nintendo DS. Nintendo has always considered it part of the DS family, to the point that they lump all four devices as a single unit in their sales figures and even went so far as to outright clarify this during their E3 2010 presentation during the introduction of the 3DS itself.
https://youtu.be/CwtQ1QGs0bg?t=3316
"…because, of course, Nintendo 3DS is the successor to Nintendo DS." Former president Satoru Iwata didn't say DSi, he said DS.
The same goes with the Nintendo 3DS.
The Nintendo 3DS is an entire family of consoles that includes: 3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS, "New" 3DS, "New" 3DS XL, and the "New" 2DS XL. (I know, kind of a mess)
The "New" models are still part of the overall 3DS family, as while they contain slight bumps in processing speed they were nothing more than just some simple overclocking with them doubling the RAM in the process. They were still, overall, part of the same platform.
Calling the Nintendo Switch Lite specifically a "successor" to the 3DS family is silly, because the Switch Lite is, similar to the scenarios above, just another member of the Nintendo Switch family. It is more accurate to simply state that the entire Switch family of devices has succeeded the 3DS family of devices, especially because the original Switch essentially bridged the gap between the handhelds and home consoles and merged the two ideas into one.
Was the Switch a successor to the Wii U? Absolutely. Was it a successor to the 3DS? The answer is also yes.
