Template:Item-infobox The Tape is a special item that is found only in Paper Mario. Koopa Koot owns this item and once loaned it to Goompa a long time ago, but now he wants it back. If Mario asks Goompa for the tape, Goompa will retrieve it from his house and give it to Mario to return to Koopa Koot. Mario is curious of what is on the tape, but unfortunately Goompa cannot tell Mario exactly what is on the tape. However, Goompa does mention that the tape he listened to was great. The tape is comparable to the Box in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and the You-Know-What in Super Paper Mario. All are side-quest items that Mario is not allowed to see the contents of.
