It's ''kind of'' a recurring object, sure, but it's so far only appeared in two games, and would be better off merged with [[Roy Koopa|Roy]]'s article until it appears enough times to firmly establish it as a recurring entity.

Is this page really needed?

I don't really see how this weapon is significant, it functions like a Bill Blaster and Roy uses it. And it's even a conjectural name. Mario Sakuraba (talk) 06:48, June 18, 2020 (EDT)

I think maybe it could be kept if we get an official name, since it has been in two games. Seems like Nintendo is trying to make it Roy's signature weapon, like Lemmy's bouncy balls or Wendy's rings. Scrooge200 (talk) PMCS Mustard Cafe Sign.png 16:28, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
A shared internal filename would be nice. Toadette icon from Captain Toad: Treasure TrackerFont of Archivist Toadette's signature(T|C) 17:51, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
NSLU's files just call it "cannon" in textures part of Roy's model. The Bill Blasters are called houdai. Color Splash doesn't have anything because the weapon is part of Roy's sprites and they don't have names, just numbered order. Scrooge200 (talk) PMCS Mustard Cafe Sign.png 20:45, June 18, 2020 (EDT)
So, do you think this page should be renamed to "Cannon (weapon)"?
I think it should by renamed to "Roy's cannon". At least, until we get a more suitable name for it. EDIT: Page 165 of the NSMBU Prima guide consistently calls it a "cannon" as well. Honestly, this is just a portable Bill Blaster. The balls Lemmy directly conjures aren't separate from the ones bouncing around freely from NSMBW, so I'd prefer a full-on merge. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 21:40, June 18, 2020 (EDT)

It's kind of a recurring object, sure, but it's so far only appeared in two games, and would be better off merged with Roy's article until it appears enough times to firmly establish it as a recurring entity.

  1. Toadette the Achiever (talk) I honestly think this article is one of those "not quite yet" situations. And the same goes for Morton's Hammer.
