The Standard YS is Yoshi's standard kart in Mario Kart DS. It features a green frame, like Yoshi's green body as well as a stylized Yoshi Egg on the hood for his emblem (unless the player changes it). It has one of the highest accelerations and a high handling, equal to the Cucumber, Poltergust 4000 and Standard SG though it also has a low speed, drift, and weight.
