LINE is a messaging app by Line Corporation that is hugely popular in Japan and other Asian countries. The service is known for its distinct stickers which can be sent with messages. Nintendo has used this service by creating multiple different series of stickers based on the Mario franchise, as well as an official automated account known as Kinopio-kun. Line Corporation co-developed Dr. Mario World with Nintendo and NHN Entertainment for smart devices, which was released on June 9, 2019.
