- On March 31 2020, VIZ Media announced that it would release in late 2020 a "handpicked collection" of English-translated Super Mario-Kun strips under the title Super Mario Bros. Manga Mania, the first ever official release of the manga in English.
- During the Nintendo Direct Mini on March 26, 2020, it was announced that a character from ARMS will be the first character for the second fighters pass in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, planned to be released in June 2020.
- LEGO Super Mario (pictured) was teased on March 10, 2020 and later officially announced on March 12, though no release date was given.
- Update 2.0.0 for Mario Kart Tour was released on March 4, 2020, in preparation for multiplayer which was later implemented on March 8, 2020.
