Template:Minigame-infobox Donkey Kong Jr. is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: Twisted!. It is set in the game of the same name, specifically Stage 4. It reappears in WarioWare Gold in 18-Volt's set, where it takes place in the first two stages, with the third difficulty level taking place in Stage 4.
Gameplay
The objective is to have Donkey Kong Jr. climb up the chains and insert the two keys into their locks, freeing his father from Mario. In WarioWare Gold, Junior must climb the vines to knock the fruit down in the first two levels.
- Level 1: There are no enemies. In WarioWare Gold, Junior must climb up to knock down two fruits.
- Level 2: Junior must avoid a Nitpicker. In WarioWare Gold, this must be done while trying to knock down the fruits.
- Level 3: Junior must avoid two Birds, both going at unpredictable speeds. In WarioWare Gold, the Birds both move at regular speed.
