The Domes are rooms in Super Mario Galaxy located in the Comet Observatory. These are where Mario can transport himself to other galaxies. After Mario collects Power Stars, more galaxies appear. Every Dome except for the Garden has two main Galaxies, two hidden Galaxies, and one boss battle Galaxy. The Garden has three main Galaxies, and one hidden Galaxy. The final galaxy of each Dome is a boss battle against either Bowser or Bowser Jr. culminating in the acquisition of a Grand Star. Additionally, once a few Power Stars from the Dome are collected, a Hungry Luma will appear, providing a portal to another galaxy near the Dome.
