Players try to get the highest score by collecting rings. When players get rings, they lift them up and multiple [[Cheep Cheep]]s jump through them; points are distributed based on how many Cheep Cheeps leaped through the rings. Pink rings give the player three points, and the golden ring gives the player five. Only once all three rings have been collected does the Pianta throw them out again. It is possible for players to get multiple rings in the same round if they get the first ring quickly enough. After 60 seconds, the game ends.

Template:Minigame-infobox Pianta Pool is a Free-for-All minigame featured in Mario Party 9.

Introduction

The camera pans from the ocean to the pool. A Pianta catches two pink rings and a gold ring, which are thrown from offscreen.

Gameplay

Players try to get the highest score by collecting rings. When players get rings, they lift them up and multiple Cheep Cheeps jump through them; points are distributed based on how many Cheep Cheeps leaped through the rings. Pink rings give the player three points, and the golden ring gives the player five. Only once all three rings have been collected does the Pianta throw them out again. It is possible for players to get multiple rings in the same round if they get the first ring quickly enough. After 60 seconds, the game ends.

This game is also available in Perspective Mode, in which the camera is zoomed in on the player, and moves with him or her, allowing only limited sight of the area.
