The minigame is played in Shroom City when the player arrives at Mushroom Beacon. There, Blooper challenges the player to this minigame; victory results in winning Hammergeddon in Play Land.
Introduction
Both players toss a hammer at each other, but move to avoid being hit.
Gameplay
Both players start with three hearts, and each must defeat the other by throwing a set of hammers at them. Both players may either toss a hammer across the arena at an arc or straight up into the air. Players must also be careful to avoid any hitting any hammers, as even a player's own hammer can damage them.
