It is not quite clear, but in [[Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door]], the resisdents of [[Twilight Town]] are turned into pigs that looks very similar to Lil Oinks by Doopliss.

Li'l Oinks are pig-like animals found in the Mushroom Kingdom. They have a variety of different patterns on their skin. Li'l Oinks may or may not be used as livestock by the Toads.
