The Soar Star is an item that will appear in the upcoming Super Mario Galaxy. It transforms Mario into Soar Mario allowing him to fly freely through the air, similar to the Wing Cap from Super Mario 64. When obtaining this outfit he dons a black cap, black overalls, and a red shirt. Though he flies more freely and his arms send a blue trail behind him. It will be used to collect items in the sky.
