Nelsonic Game Watch

Nelsonic Game Watch is a multi-purpose wristwatch developed by Nelsonic Industries that uses a LCD display. Nelsonic has obtained licensing from Nintendo in 1989 to reproduce Nintendo's popular games. The Nelsonic Game Watch can play various games, although these games are simple. All of the watches were released in North America. However, the 1990 watches except for Super Mario Bros. 3 were also given away in Japanese McDonald's chains.

Various Mario games have been remade into the Nelsonic Game Watch, but the gameplay vaguely resembles the original game, due to the limitations the game watch had.

This is a list of Mario games that are in the Nelsonic Game Watch:

  • Super Mario Bros. (based on Super Mario Bros.) (1989)
  • Super Mario Bros. 3 (based on Super Mario Bros. 3) (1990)
  • Mario's Egg Catch (based on Super Mario Bros. 2) (1990)
  • Luigi's Hammer Toss (based on Super Mario Bros. 2) (1990) [1]
  • Princess Toadstool's Castle Run (based on Super Mario Bros. 2) (1990) distributed by S.I.U.[2][dead link])
  • Super Mario World (based on Super Mario World) (1991)
  • Donkey Kong (based on Donkey Kong) (1994)
