Template:Levelbox Shoe-Stopper is the eighth course in the Story Mode of Super Mario Maker 2. It is set in the snow theme for its main area and the underground theme for its sub-area, as well as in the Super Mario Bros. style. It is posted by Celebrity DJ, and has a difficulty rating of 1/4 stars. The title of this level is a pun on "shoe" and "showstopper".

Layout

The level begins with some ? Blocks, along with a Shoe Goomba. After traversing an area with Munchers, Mario must enter a Warp Pipe, where he must travel across two more Shoe Goombas as well as a few different varieties of Piranha Plant. After the Checkpoint Flag, Mario will encounter Big Shoe Goombas, of whose shoe he can use to take out a group of Munchers later on and collect a 10-Coin. Some Stiletto Goombas then appear over Spike Traps, followed by some Winged Piranha Plants and a Winged Shoe Goomba. Additional groups of Munchers and Shoe Goombas then appear, along with another Warp Pipe leading to the Goal Pole.

Description

"These Shoe Goombas are too much! But the kicks they're rocking are useful because they let you walk over Spike Traps. The Shoes probably don't smell great, but you can always press R to take them off! And if you find a big Shoe, you can slam down by tilting Control Stick↓ in the air!"
