The level contains one Advance Coin. This card was released only in Japan due to the e-Reader's discontinuation outside Japan, although it was later released outside Japan with the Wii U Virtual Console version. The key art featured Roy Koopa.

Level synopsis

This level is a remake of World 2-2 from the original Super Mario Bros.. However, Spiny Cheep-Cheeps replace the original level's red and green ones, as they act differently in Super Mario Bros. 3. Also, the currents in the pits are absent, and the Piranha Plant in the goal area's entrance pipe is gone.
