Template:Newsubject The Clawshot is Link's new grab move in the upcoming Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This move was originally called "Hookshot" in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros., but for Brawl, the name has been changed to fit the Twilight Princess design of Link. This move can be used as a Tether Recovery like the Plasma Whip of Zero Suit Samus. In contrast to the Hookshot, the Clawshot automatically targets the nearest ledge when using it as a tether recovery, which avoids the targeting process of the Hookshot, which was deemed too difficult.
