Gameplay
The player has to sharpen the pencil. In WarioWare Gold, the player must tilt the system to the right and left to sharpen the pencil on all difficulty levels.
- 1st level difficulty: A manual handheld sharpener. The player must just twist the pencil.
- 2nd level difficulty: A manual machine sharpener, or a manual handheld sharpener in WarioWare Gold. The Wii Remote must be pointed on-screen first and then be rotated. In WarioWare Gold, the player must twist the pencil twice.
- 3rd level difficulty: An electronic sharpener, or a manual handheld sharpener in WarioWare Gold. The pencil must be inserted to sharpen. In WarioWare Gold, the player must twist the pencil three times.
