As the fireworks rain down, players must avoid the flaming debris. Players must watch the shadows in order to avoid the debris as it falls. Even after it has touched the ground it will still remain there for about a second before disappearing. Players must dodge two waves of flames in this manner. Any players that survives both waves are safe from Bowser. However, touching just one piece of debris one time eliminates the player and brands him or her as a "loser".
