Spikesters are relatives of Spikeys and Oerlikons, and likely relatives of Spinies and Buzzy Beetles. These creatures were green-shelled, unlike the purple Oerlikons and the red Spikeys. They have only appeared in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Spikesters were common in Booster Pass; most of them were dropped by a Lakitu flying overhead. They did not appear anywhere else in the game. They were quite easy to defeat, as they only had one special attack.
