I have never ever, in any video of the game at all, ever seen a Green Luma. Can someone prove to me that a Green Luma exists? Mariofanical

Theres official art work of them, isn't that enough? ~Uniju(T-C-E)

Okay, I saw one for less than a second in this video. I also saw one in the story about Rosalina in the same video.

And in the same video I saw a PINK normal one that isn't carrying anything next to either the Garage or the Kitchen.

So there is:

1. Yellow Baby Luma which owns the Spring Star and Star Ring.
2. Blue Baby Luma which owns the Beam Star.
3. Red Baby Luma which owns the Red Star.
4. Green Baby Luma which I've only seen for 0.58 of a second and was really small because it was far away.
5. Pink Baby Luma which I've only seen for a few seconds next to a Dome.
6. White Baby Luma like Tyke who can perform a Star Spin.
7. Pink Adult Luma, carrying Star Bits because it feeds on them, being able to create a new planet.
8. Blue Adult Luma, carrying a Super Mushroom, and a 1-Up Mushroom, who sells beneficial items to Mario.
9. Purple Adult Luma, carrying Stars, and does "who knows what" because I saw it for only a few seconds too.

Green Luma, and something else...

The green Lumas appear when you get a Green Power Star. There's Six green Lumas.

But I have something else to say. Where does the white Luma appear "Alive on a small Planet?" I never saw that in the game. InfectedShroom.Infectoicon.png

You'll see when you beaten the game complete it with all 121 stars playing as Luigi. Princess Butterfly 15:29, 24 November 2007 (EST)

Ah. I see. Thanks. InfectedShroom.Infectoicon.png

Article

Should we make an article on Hungry Lumas?Knife (talk) 23:28, 7 December 2007 (EST)

Artwork

Should we add Rosalina's artwork in mario kart wii on the article because a luma is with her. User: Supersmashbrosbrawl

Move to Luma (character)

I think so, and put the species page back to just Luma. -- Booster

But Luma is a character as well as a species. The same thing has been done to Birdo's article, Yoshi's article and Toad's article. Luma deserves his own page too!--Magikoopa67 10:12, 12 July 2008 (EDT)

But the Luma species as a whole seems to be more known than the character in this case. There were Lumas everywhere in Galaxy. -- Booster

I don't think so, Luma's is Mario's partener in the game and is just as well known as his species.--Magikoopa67 17:49, 13 July 2008 (EDT)

Hmm. But the other Lumas are still important, such as Polari. Maybe keep the species page where it is, move the character to Luma (character), and make Luma a disambiguation page. -- Booster

A two-subject disambiguation page is a little too short for such a major topic. I think that it should be Luma for the species and Luma (character) for the character. C Teng [talk] 11:43, 2 November 2008 (EST)

Is this page needed?

Honestly, there are only two things on this page; the character and the species, which i don't think is enough for a disambiguation article. I think it would make sense to delete it and put the about template in the respective articles. Please let me know what you think. I say it's needed, since "Luma" is referring to one of two things, both of equal importance. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 14:28, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
While true, Toad is not called Toad (character), Birdo is not called Birdo (character)... And so many others. Why is Luma (character) different? Blue Yoshi from Yoshi's Story Yoshi Egg 1990 Red Yoshi holding a Bumber 'Chute 14:32, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
Because Luma (character) isn't more notable than the other. Bob-omb (character) doesn't take priority over Bob-omb ((species)). And there are many others like that. Maybe the species is a little more notable, but even then, I don't think it's notable enough. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 14:40, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
Let's approach this a different way: Since they are both pages about minor characters, which should take priority? The species or the character? The plentiful ones or the one that tags with Mario? To make matters even more confusing, there is a playable Luma in Mario Tennis Open that isn't the silver one. Alex95sig1.pngAlex95sig2.png 15:04, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
Why is Mario's cap/Apricot/etc (silver?) Luma at Luma (character) anyway? According to the article, it's "Baby Luma" in SMG2 and SSB Wii U. Shouldn't the apricot Luma be moved there?
As for the MTO yellow "Luma" playable character..., well, the default skin for the "playable" Luma in the "Rosalina & Luma" pair in SSB4 & SSBU is yellow... - Reboot (talk) 15:14, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
According to the manual. The ones in-game are (young-in most) master Super Mario Galaxy promotional artwork: A Luma Luma. However, Baby Luma is also the most recent (since it is in SSBfWU). And since he is called young in the actual SMG2 game, I can see that moving to Baby Luma. Red Yoshi in a construction hat walking Yoshi the SSM (talk) 15:58, 26 June 2018 (EDT)
