Template:More images Template:Minigame-infobox Hazard Hold is a 1-vs-Rivals minigame featured in Mario Party 9. The electricity and fire of the solo player's attacks are similar to those in Revolving Fire from Mario Party 5.
Introduction
The screen shows the solo player firing an electricity ring at the other players. The other players jump to avoid it. The screen then splits into one side for the solo player and another for the rivals.
Gameplay
The solo player attempts to eliminate all other players by using three different attacks. The electricity attack button sends a ring of electricity that expands from the center out, with a four second regeneration time. The fire attack button causes the four Rocket Engines to activate and slowly pivot 90 degrees, with a four second regeneration time. The wind attack button sends a strong gust of wind from the fan with a three second regeneration time. All of these moves will instantly eliminate a rival if hit. If the solo player eliminates all three rivals within 30 seconds, they are victorious. If at least one rival survives for the entire 30 seconds, the rivals are victorious.
